I had never even heard of this museum and I don’t know why. Very cool, nicely laid out, close to Zocalo Mexico City. Plan to spend 1.5 hours. Excellent examples of Mexican folk art. Full review by Jjones1918
Are there explanations of the art in English or just Spanish?

I am sorry I do not remember as I am bilingual but the art is worth seeing. It's fun, colorful , varied and whimsical! Start at the top floor and work your way down.
