Best Buy began selling the Switch 2 at its retail locations on June 5. It previously said it wouldn't sell the handheld at its online store during launch week, but it made additional consoles available on June 11 around 12PM ET. That restock lasted for the better part of an hour and required in-store pickup, but the device is now sold out again.

EE does have the Nintendo Switch 2 in stock right now, but it's only available as part of a larger bundle and only for monthly mobile customers. If eligible, you can add the Mario Kart World bundle, as well as an extra set of Joy-Con, a Switch 2 Camera, and a $50 EE Game Card to your contract for an extra £30 a month with £20 paid today.

The first post-launch Nintendo Switch 2 system update has arrived. It’s skipping ahead to version 20.1.5 and as you can guess, it adds stability. It is a bit unusual for Nintendo to jump versions, but maybe there’s been that many stability fixes that they’re hot fixing as they go and have jumped ahead to the latest version rather than dropping lots of little ones.
