During its 111-104 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, Oklahoma City became the highest-scoring team in league history, eclipsing a record the Golden State Warriors held for six years.

The total-points record is the latest entry on a history-making season for the Thunder, who set a franchise record with 68 regular-season wins and — if they win the NBA title — would become the fourth team in league history to post at least 84 victories in a full season.

Gilgeous-Alexander becomes one of just 12 players in NBA history to score 3,000 total points in the regular season and playoffs combined.

The Thunder have now scored more points, including regular season and playoffs, in a season than any other team in NBA history. The previous mark: 12,161 by Golden State in 2018-19.
