Court documents reveal new details before the manhunt for Vance Boelter, the leading suspect in a shooting of two Minnesota lawmakers.

Vance Boelter is being held in the custody of U.S. Marshals as he awaits his first court appearance in federal court Monday afternoon. After being arrested late Sunday in a field in Sibley County, Boelter was booked into Hennepin County jail after being delivered by the Brooklyn Park Police Department just after 1 a.

Vance Luther Boelter, 57, was arrested on Sunday in connection with the shooting death of Minnesota Democratic state Rep. Melissa Hortman, a former House speaker, and her husband at their Brooklyn Park home on Saturday morning. He also allegedly shot Democratic State Sen. John Hoffman and wife Yvette, who were wounded at their home in Champlin.
