Unfortunately for the Nerazzurri, the man at the helm of that recent run — Simone Inzaghi — is off to the financially green pastures of Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

Inter Milan has appointed Cristian Chivu as coach despite his relative inexperience and he will hope to be as successful as he was in his playing career with the Nerazzurri.
