LOS ANGELES - A former Los Angeles Police Department officer was sentenced on Friday to 15 years to life in prison for a DUI crash that killed a mother and father and their son. Edgar Verduzco was sentenced to multiple life sentences for the 2017 crash, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced on Friday.

The former police officer pleaded guilty in April to murder and DUI charges from a high-speed, off-duty crash that killed three people.
