In the closing laps of the Canadian Grand Prix, McLaren teammates Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris were battling for fourth place, with hopes of a fight further up the grid on the table for the McLaren driver who emerged victorious.

George Russell delivered a faultless showing in Montreal but McLaren pair Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri endured a race to forget.

Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris crashed four laps from the end of the Canadian Grand Prix, with the Brit running into the back of his team-mate on the start-finish straight. Out front, George Russell held off Max Verstappen for victory with rookie team-mate Kimi Antonelli on the podium.
