Thousands of "No Kings Day" protests are set to be held throughout the country on Saturday to protest the Trump administration.
The State Patrol asked that people stay away from the rallies “out of an abundance of caution,” but thousands still turned out in the Twin Cities, Duluth and Rochester.
A performance rally will be in downtown St. Cloud this Saturday. It will be at Courthouse Square advocating for voting rights on Trump's birthday.

The largely peaceful protests during the "No Kings Day" demonstration in downtown Los Angeles took an intense turn in the afternoon. Police ordered the crowd to disperse at about 4:15 p.m. PDT near Alameda Street and Temple Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Central Division.
