Al Trautwig, the longtime sportscaster who covered the New York Knicks and New York Rangers on MSG, has died, the network said in a statement Monday. Trautwig died of complications from cancer. He was 68.

In addition to MSG Network, Al Trautwig also worked for ABC, NBC and USA Network.Trautwig passed away at age 68.
