We’ve hit the ground running on what has been a great WNBA season, and I welcome you back for more today. I’ll be coming at you twice weekly — Saturdays and Mondays — to give you my best WNBA picks and bets and hopefully provide some winners.

In their dominant win against the Aces, the Valkyries held double-double machine and one of the league's best rebounders, A'ja Wilson, to only six boards. Golden State's intensity on the glass also helped secure the win against the Sparks in an overtime contest.

The defending WNBA champions are back in action Chicago Sky come to visit the New York Liberty at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Liberty are still one of two undefeated squads remaining this season along with the other 2024 WNBA Finals participants the Minnesota Lynx.

The New York Liberty 's star-studded squad was missing something as the 2024 regular season ended. Though a team with Sabrina Ionescu, Jonquel Jones and Breanna Stewart finished with a WNBA -best 32-8 record, head coach Sandy Brondello decided that rookie forward Leonie Fiebich needed to be in the starting lineup when the playoffs began.

The Chicago Sky (2-5) travel to face the undefeated New York Liberty (8-0) on Tuesday night in a Commissioner's Cup matchup at Barclays Center.

New York, off to its best start in franchise history, scored the first 12 points of the game and cruised from there.
