The first weekend of the NFL regular season saw several wins for former Oregon Ducks stars, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving is no different.

As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Atlanta Falcons, 23-20, last Sunday afternoon, the football world has been hyping up the team regarding what they accomplish this season. With the Buccaneers led by the heroics of Emeka Egbuka, former player Chris Long would go as far as to say that the team should be in the conversation to win the Super Bowl.

In a wide receiver room led by potential Hall of Famer Mike Evans, rookie Emeka Egbuka was Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield's favorite target in a Week 1 23-20 win against the Atlanta Falcons. The two hooked up for a team-high 67 yards and two touchdowns on four passes.

Michael Penix Jr. scrambled a 4-yard rushing TD that gave the Atlanta Falcons a 20-17 lead against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense is set to look much different to start the 2025 NFL season due to the absence of former Pro Bowl wide receiver Chris Godwin. But fortunately, Bucs fans may not have to wait to long to see Godwin on the field.
