Another major earthquake hit the Kamchatka region of Russia on Friday.

Provincial officials say there is no tsunami threat to B.C.'s coast following a 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck the Pacific Basin near Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula on Thursday.
