A former WA employee was sentenced to 18 months in prison and ordered to pay more than $1 million in restitution for his embezzlement scheme.
When police arrested a 13-year-old boy in Washington state last week accused of making threats to kill, they found he had “everything ready to go to commit a mass shooting” – including a trove of more than 20 guns in his home.

Facing $100,000 in fines, a Spokane County farmer now has 30 days to pay up or appeal after irrigating his property without permission as the state cuts access for dozens of others. According to a news release,
