Looking for cable to output from either HDMI or optical to RCA. Optical requires power to convert but HDMI does not. Which is a better option for audio ?

Woah be careful with this. This will only convert 2 channel digital audio to RCA. If your tv can be set to output stereo only through the TOSLINK output, all will be good.
