You'll soon be able to create short, sharable video clips from longer livestream and uploaded video content on YouTube.

YouTube also states that only the original creator of the content will be able to create a Short from it. No other creators can make Shorts from your videos in this way.

You can make YouTube Shorts by accessing the YouTube app on your phone and using the feature to record brief videos.
