At the first Unpacked event of the year, Samsung is expected to launch the next generation Galaxy S25 series, including the base Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra. According to FNN, Samsung will also debut the much-rumored Galaxy S25 Slim.

In 2024, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 series on January 17 which was scheduled as per the previous trends and timeline. However, the tech giant launched its foldable a little early of its schedule, therefore, it will not be a surprise if Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S25 series earlier than expected.

While the cheaper FE phone has all of the same features as original Galaxy S24, that more expensive phone could be the better pick.

In a recent post on X, Ice Universe stated that the Galaxy S25 will be released with the Snapdragon 8 Elite worldwide. This means that the devices will perform identically regardless of where they are bought from, rather than meaning one region gets the "better" version of the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is one of the best Android phones to release this year. Despite launching at the beginning of the year, it can hold its own against its newer competitors, like the Pixel 9 series.
