LOS ANGELES (CNS) -- Los Angeles Metro has temporarily reduced some bus and rail service beginning this week to avoid more unexpected cancellations caused by operator shortages at the transit agency.

Police are investigating after a man was possibly stabbed Saturday aboard a Metro bus in South Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The violence was reported just before 4 p.m.

Three people were injured after a multi-vehicle crash involving two Metro buses in downtown Los Angeles Wednesday. Los Angeles police responded to the crash near 111 S Grand Avenue around 4:17 p.m.
