More than a week after launching on the farthest journey humans have ever taken, the crew of NASA’s Artemis II mission is en route to splash back to Earth on Friday evening.

NASA's Artemis II mission successfully concluded with a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.

The Orion Capsule was recovered off the coast of California after carrying the fab four around the dark side of the moon furthering science and space exploration.
