Microsoft has added a 'paste as plain text' option to the Windows 10 clipboard history in the latest Preview build available for Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel.
Windows 10 and 11 offer a clipboard history that can store multiple items and sync them across different computers. There are also more powerful third-party clipboard utilities.
The Windows 10 October 2018 Update adds several new and improved functions to the basic clipboard, making copying and pasting even easier.
To test it, Windows 10 users need to open clipboard history by pressing "WIN + V" and then click the ellipsis (…) button next to any text-based entry in the clipboard history.
In Windows 10, open Settings > System > Clipboard. Here you can toggle the switch to enable or disable Clipboard sync. In Windows 11, open Settings > System > Clipboard.
