The majority of the U.S. is in line for a major change in weather this week, with the National Weather Service (NWS) issuing new forecasts running from Tuesday, Dec. 16, through the Christmas holiday.
"There definitely appears to be a significant cold spell late this weekend into early next week from the Great Lakes into the Ohio Valley and East," AccuWeather meteorologist Adam Douty told Newsweek.
