WorkKeys is a series of tests developed by the makers of the ACT to test whether students have job-related skills, such as basic math, teamwork, and the ability to read charts and documents.
The WorkKeys assessment will also be offered for free. The ACT test gauges a student’s readiness for success in the first year of college. It was first introduced in 1959.
On the other hand, WorkKeys tests applied mathematics, comprehension and problem-solving ability – their readiness for the workforce.
The WorkKeys assessment included three tests, Applied Mathematics, Locating Information and Reading for Information.
