The PGA Tour announced that Darien resident and veteran NFL executive Brian Rolapp will be the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Rolapp spent more than two decades with the NFL, most recently serving as the league’s Chief Media and Business Officer.

But Brian Rolapp's title will remain vacant. Per multiple reports, Commissioner Roger Goodell will not replace Rolapp, who had served since 2014 as chief media and business officer for the NFL. As explained by Brian Fischer of Sports Business Journal,
