The funeral for fallen Chicago Police Officer Krystal Rivera was held Wednesday afternoon, after she was shot and killed in the line of duty earlier this month.Rivera, 36, born and raised in the Humboldt Park neighborhood,

Mourners, including police officials from across the state, started to arrive before noon at Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park for the funeral of Chicago police Officer Krystal Rivera.

Rivera, a single mom, was killed by friendly fire from another officer during a foot chase earlier this month, police said.
