Astronomer tech company denies fake apology statement that went viral following Coldplay's Kiss Cam incident where Chris Martin called out executives for an alleged affair.

Tech firm Astronomer was the subject of memes and misinformation after a video allegedly of its CEO and HR chief at a Coldplay concert went viral.

Before being caught in the arms of married Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, the company’s HR chief, Kristin Cabot, boasted that she “wins trust” of CEOs. “An influential leader and fearless change agent, I lead by example and win trust with employees of all levels, from CEOs to managers to assistants,” she wrote via her LinkedIn bio.

A viral kiss-cam moment at a Coldplay concert has triggered a corporate firestorm at US data software firm Astronomer. The company's CEO, Andy Byron, and Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, have both been suspended following footage that captured what appeared to be an intimate exchange between the two executives during the band's sold-out show

Cabot was just appointed to her position in November, and her and CEO Andy Byron, both married, were quick to gush over one another.
