At 6:10 p.m. on Monday, the NWS Wakefield VA released a flood advisory in effect until 9:15 p.m. The advisory is for Chowan, Gates, Pasquotank and Perquimans counties.

On Monday at 5:12 p.m. a flood advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 8:15 p.m. for Pickens County.

"Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring."

The NWS Blacksburg VA released a flood advisory at 6:28 p.m. on Monday in effect until 9:30 p.m. for Caswell and Rockingham counties.

An updated flood warning was released by the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC on Monday at 2:25 a.m. in effect until further notice for Pitt County.
