Cavaliers president of basketball operations Koby Altman has signed a contract extension through the 2029-30 season, a person with knowledge of the deal said.

Koby Altman, who has directed the recent ascension of the Cavs into contenders in the East, is now under contract through 2029-30.

Over the past three seasons, Koby Altman and his front office staff have constructed a deep and talented roster that’s boasted the NBA’s third-best record while making the playoffs each of those seasons.
