Angel City FC soccer players and club investor Becky G made strong statements amid anti-ICE riots that have plagued parts of the city over the last week.
US President Donald Trump deployed hundreds of US Marines to Los Angeles following a weekend of anti-deportation demonstrations in June 2025 that saw sporadic but violent clashes between police and protesters.
The back of the shirts said “Los Angeles is for Everyone” in English and Spanish. The team said some 10,000 shirts were distributed.
The club also had cards with a new statement from the club, following their initial statement released on June 7.
LAFC fans, led by the vociferous fan group The 3252, stayed silent during a 3-1 win against Sporting Kansas City in a display of protest against ICE raids in Los Angeles.
However, a stoppage-time goal by Courage midfielder Brianna Pinto at BMO Stadium capped a chaotic scramble in front of Angel City, sealing the result. Attempting to avoid a fate similar to its last two games, the visitors jumped out of the blocks and grabbed the lead 42 seconds after kickoff.

At Los Angeles FC games in particular, the team's independent support group — known as The 3252 — has seen a rise in anti-ICE tifos and signs during matches. The team itself showed solidarity with the protests in the stands in a pre-game message shared to social media on June 8 before taking on Sporting Kansas City.
