Disney’s live action version of “Lilo & Stich” earned a staggering $145.5 million in North American theaters, according to studio estimates Sunday, the second biggest domestic opening of the year after “A Minecraft Movie.”

New movie releases usually become available on streaming platforms several months after their theatrical debut. In the case of Lilo & Stitch, it’s expected to hit the Disney+ catalog by the end of 2025 or sometime in 2026.
