The Wolverines picked up a pair of commitments in the 2026 class, their first since Feb. 28. Newbury Park (Calif.) four-star quarterback Brady Smigiel was the first to announce his decision, and Washington D.C. St John’s three-star edge Tariq Boney followed shortly after.

The Wolverines added their second Class of 2026 recruit of the weekend. Boney had offers from Georgia, Auburn, Texas A&M and others.
