Jordy Bahl has established herself as the best two-way player in the country in her first full season with the Nebraska softball team since transferring from Oklahoma.

The Huskers had just come off a west coast trip where they went 3-8 after being swept at UCLA and winning one game at Southern California, with a two-game sweep over Pepperdine in the middle. They sat 2-7 in Big Ten play, and even though it was still early, looked like a long shot to reach the postseason.

“The more spots the better, man. Make that thing 40 and let’s go,” Matt Rhule said, according to an article from On3. “I think, again, you’re talking about a league that we play nine conference games where some others play eight. So I think that puts you at an automatic disadvantage.”
