(ABC 6 News) — A house fire in Rochester has claimed the life of two people. According to the Rochester Fire Department, crews were called to 822 Fox Pointe Lane at 10:15 p.m. last night. They found a large, single-family home with heavy smoke coming from the garage and main floor. Flames were also coming from the roofline in the back of the home.

ROCHESTER, Minn. — A tragic residential fire Friday night in the 800 block of Fox Point Lane Southwest resulted in the deaths of two adults. The Rochester Fire Department (RFD) says Engines 1, 16, 3, 4, and 5, responded to heavy smoke and flames at the large single-family residence.

Two men in their 30s were hospitalized following an assault at a home on Weyl Street, according to Rochester police.Officers responded to the area of Delmonte Street and North Street just before 12:30 Saturday morning for the report of a male being assaulted.
