On the face of it, there probably aren't a lot of folks who believe Rutgers guard Ace Bailey is having a superior 2024-25 season than Duke forward Cooper Flagg. Flagg has shown off a far more well-rounded game.

NBA Draft is filled with generational talent, headlined by Duke's Cooper Flagg and Rutgers' Ace Bailey. Flagg is generally seen as the top talent, but now people are taking Bailey's side. Philadelphia 76ers superstar forward Paul George said on his podcast that he thinks Bailey will actually end up a better player than Flagg in the long run.

Cooper Flagg has long been talked about as the runaway No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. And unless he chooses to return to Duke, that should uphold. That said, there’s some people out there who think he’s not a shoe-in as the top pick.
