Donovan Peoples-Jones got to an opportunity to try for the New Orleans Saints at rookie minicamp. That audition has landed him a job.

The Saints wanted to add to their wide receiver room during the 2025 NFL Draft but never felt like the value was there. Since the draft ended, New Orleans has been connected to veteran wideouts such as Kennan Allen and Amari Cooper. While the team could look to add more receivers, Peoples-Jones is a solid depth addition.
