Also limited on Thursday were tight end Nate Adkins and left guard Ben Powers, who's working back from injured reserve. The Broncos started Powers' clock on Wednesday, and in the wake of a roster spot being created by waiving tight end Marcedes Lewis, the veteran guard could be back as soon as this week against the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers are coming off a last-second win over the Chicago Bears, wh ich thrust them back atop the NFC North and the No. 2 seed in the NFC. They've garnered tons of momentum with that victory, which, if you've been paying attention to the Packers this season, is exactly the time they give it all back with a loss.
The NFL playoff picture could see its first pieces fall into place in Week 15, with the Broncos, Patriots and Rams all having clinching scenarios.
4. Denver Broncos: The Broncos drop two spots despite a win this week, but it's not really their fault. Their 24-17 win over the Raiders looked a bit less impressive than the Rams' and Seahawks' did this week, but Denver is still a Top 5 team with a Top 5 defense and should have no problem continuing its run to the postseason.
