Doug Drewes of Ox Dynasty Drewes Homestead in Juniata County brought the cattle to the show for one-night visit that included a demonstration held Jan. 12 at the Farm Show.

“Who doesn’t want to celebrate Mother’s Day with a musk ox mom and the most adorable calf you’re ever going to find in your life?” said Mark Austin, the farm’s executive director.

Believe it or not, musk ox milk is a real hit in coffee. It's rich and fatty and not the least bit offensive in flavor, at least according to taste tests by managers at the Musk Ox Farm in Palmer.
