Well now Facebook has a way to let you use Messenger in peace from your web browser. Today it launched Messenger.com as a dedicated chat interface.

In other words, Facebook wants a standalone Facebook Messenger browser experience (with desktop notifications) that is completely separate from the rest of the social network.

Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and Telegram come built into the browser. The apps can be opened in overlay or pinned side-by-side with the current tab.
