Tick Tock Diner in Clifton, one of the most beloved diners in New Jersey, reopened recently after two months of renovation. But are the changes an improvement?

On the plus side, Tick Tock has an upgraded beer menu, cleaned-up interior, and is mercifully free of blaring TVs or blasting music.

To complement the Bloody Mary flavors, Tick Tock also has a robust menu of brunch, lunch, appetizer and lounge food options, including salads and sandwiches like steak burgers, Reubens and even pizza.

The Tick Tock diner was completely renovated inside and work was also done to the outside, including the iconic sign, which is now LED instead of neon.
