In the Southeast, more than 400,000 homes and businesses were without power Sunday morning in Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. Flash flood warnings were issued across much of the region.
The warning covers a large swathe of Georgia, along with parts of Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi and Alabama.
