The Las Vegas Raiders hired their next head coach on Friday morning, agreeing to terms with Pete Carroll on a multiyear deal. The 73-year-old is now set to lead a rebuild in Sin City for a team that's been yearning for a franchise quarterback.

This would put the Steelers in line to draft a quarterback early in the 2025 NFL draft with Fields or Wilson as the bridge player until they are ready to start. This is much more of a Wilson scenario over Fields but more on that as the offseason goes on.

That is precisely what former NFL defensive lineman and Super Bowl Champion Chris Canty wants to see the team do. Canty wants the Steelers to trade back from the 21st overall selection and select Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, which would give them a young quarterback to invest in overall.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a few avenues to utilize if they want to replace Russell Wilson this offseason. One NFL analyst believes the Steelers will find Wilson's replacement in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
