Pop star Shakira has been hospitalized in Peru with a stomach issue, forcing her to cancel her Sunday show in the Andean country, the singer said on social media.
Peruvian authorities threatened sanctions and hefty fines Tuesday as they investigated how popstar Shakira's medical records were leaked following her treatment at a Lima clinic.

Shakira is taking time out of her current tour to focus on her health. The "Hips Don't Lie" singer, 48, postponed her Sunday, February 16 show in Lima, Peru, telling her fans in a heartfelt message that she needed to be hospitalized for a health "issue.
"The doctors whose care I am currently under have communicated that I am not in good enough condition to perform this evening," she wrote on Sunday.
