Canned tuna sold at Trader Joe’s, Costco, Walmart and more recalled due to botulism riskTri-Union Seafoods is recalling certain canned tuna products sold at Costco, H-E-B, Kroger, Trader Joe’s, Walmart and other stores.
Kroger has not imposed a nationwide rule on eggs but says some local stores are asking customers to limit purchases to two dozen at a time.
Several major retailers are imposing restrictions to help ensure customers can still by eggs as the deadly bird flu runs rampant.
The voluntary recall over botulism fears also covers cans sold at Safeway, Harris Teeter, Costco and other major grocery stores in dozens of states.
Canned tuna fish sold at Trader Joe’s and other grocers in New York and New Jersey and across the country has been recalled amid concerns the product may have been compromised and subject people to food poisoning.
The recalled products may not fully seal shut and may be contaminated with one of "the most lethal substances known," according to WHO.
