Kyle Kuzma scored 19 points in his return to Washington, and the Milwaukee Bucks overcame Giannis Antetokounmpo’s foul trouble to beat the Wizards 104-101.
Kuzma reflected on his tenure in Washington, saying, "I wouldn’t trade this experience and being here and being a Wizard for anything."
The Washington Wizards are no longer eligible for the worst season in NBA history — a three-game winning streak this month kept that specter from lurking over the young locker room.
For this rebuild to work as fast as possible, the Wizards need to get a top-three pick in this year's draft. Then do it again next year.
