President Donald Trump has gone after the world’s wealthiest higher education institution in the name of antisemitism, claiming Harvard has failed to protect Jewish students, particularly in the wake of the war in Gaza.

The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland are seeking to join 16 other colleges in filing a friend-of-the-court brief that backs Harvard University in its legal battle with the Trump administration over federal funding.

The U.S. General Services Administration asked federal agencies to reconsider all federal contracts with Harvard.
