The corrections officers involved in the death of inmate Robert Brooks at Marcy Correctional Facility on Dec. 9 have apparently been charged with murder, according to a statement made Thursday by Governor Kathy Hochul. Hochul's statement was released roughly an hour before the officers appeared in Oneida County Court on Thursday afternoon.
