Best Buy began selling the Switch 2 at its retail locations on June 5. It previously said it wouldn't sell the handheld at its online store during launch week, but it made additional consoles available on June 11 around 12PM ET. That restock lasted for the better part of an hour and required in-store pickup, but the device is now sold out again.

Thankfully, we are finally starting to get some updates about when we can expect more consoles to be available. Walmart has recently confirmed that it will have more Switch 2 stock starting on Wednesday, June 25. The only catch is, Walmart+ members are getting a full one-hour head start to buy one before everyone else.

If you must have one today, I recommend those of you in the US pop into your local GameStop as the Switch 2 is currently being sold exclusively in stores. For those in the UK, you have a lot more options, with retailers like Amazon, GAME, ShopTo, and EE stocked up on the brand-new console.
