Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders had the fifth-highest-selling jersey in the NFL despite his backup role according to the NFLPA.

Shedeur Sanders noted that Dillon Gabriel addressed him on the plane ride home to Cleveland after last week's preseason game, clarifying to Sanders personally that the "entertainers" he was referring to were media members, not Sanders.

The Browns selected Sanders in the fifth round of the NFL Draft back in April, trading up to acquire him. Of course, Sanders was expected to be a first-round pick, but he slid all the way to Day 3. In fact, Cleveland nabbed Gabriel two rounds before it landed Sanders.

The Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Sanders is not even getting reps on the scout team for Cleveland at this point and is simply just “watching everyone,” Tony Rizzo of ESPN reported this week on his radio show. Fellow backup QB Bailey Zappe has been running the Browns’ scout team instead, Rizzo adds.

In the Ravens-Browns games last season, Henry ran for 73 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries in Cleveland’s 29-24 victory on Oct. 27 and 138 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in Baltimore’s 35-10 victory on Jan. 4. Henry averaged 6.8 yards per carry in his first season against the Browns as a division rival.
