Authorities identified the student who shot two schoolmates and then himself at Evergreen High School as 16-year-old Desmond Holly.

A student shot two of his peers Wednesday at a suburban Denver high school before shooting himself and later dying, authorities said.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said the students were injured in a shooting at Evergreen High School in Evergreen, about 30 miles west of Denver, and taken to the hospital.
