Fortnite has returned to iOS on Apple's App Store five years after it was first removed. Its return came a few days after Epic Games filed an injunction against Apple after it blocked the developer's latest Fortnite submission.
On top of all the problems, Fortnite is not available to all iOS users who use the search function in the App Store. For some reason, the game can be downloaded through the direct link, yet it doesn’t appear after users search for it. However, this is likely a temporary issue that will soon be fixed by Apple.
After a five-year legal battle, a judge has forced Apple to allow Epic Games's Fortnite back on the iOS platform.
Apple initially removed Fortnite from the App Store in 2020 after Epic Games tried to skirt commissions on in-app purchases.
