The LEGO Masters JR. season 1 finale featured a Ninjago dragon challenge, with teams racing to complete builds before judges announced the first champions.

Brothers Ajay and Zakary Schroeder from Erie won the first season of the "LEGO Masters Jr." television show. On the show, they were teamed up with celebrity captain Alison Sweeney, who they described as a motherly figure. As champions, the brothers won a trophy, $50,000 in cash, and other LEGO-related prizes.

The late Black Sabbath rocker—who died July 22 from a heart attack at the age of 76—made a posthumous appearance alongside daughter Kelly Osbourne on the Sept. 8 episode of Lego Masters Jr. During the episode, Ozzy suddenly appeared on the big screen above the kid contestants and said, "Hi, kids!" before Kelly greeted him.
