A new wildfire was reported 1:18 p.m. May 22 in Los Angeles County. Since its discovery 27 hours ago, LACO OWEN Fire has burned 0.3 acres of private land. There is no information on the containment of the fire and its cause remains unknown.

Brian K. Williams, 61, was charged with one felony count of making a fire and explosives threat, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
